Diane Savino may be from Staten Island, but she still represents large swaths of Brooklyn in the State Senate, including the apartment building where your humble blogger resides.
Nick Rizzo and I (supported by producer Mike Dougherty) interviewed Savino about the intersection between her Independent Democratic Conference and ethics legislation — after all, the Senate Democratic conference that the IDC bolted from is no stranger to ethical problems, while the IDC closely aligns its core advocacy with good governance measures.
