As I already reported. It seems Darryl Towns quietly left for the Cuomo administration with no announcement.
Tonko will be joined by NYS DHCR Commissioner Darryl Towns, Fulmont Community Action Agency Chairman Denis Wilson, Gloversville Mayor Dayton King (invited), Dan Towne, the Director of the Gloversville Housing Authority, and residents of the complex.

Update II: David Freedlander at the Observer points to a third (or fourth) potential candidate, Jesus Gonzalez, a community organizer with Make the Road New York, considering the race.
